Eliza Leigh Serna earned her bachelor’s degree at the University of the Philippines in Quezon City, Philippines and graduated from Philippine Law School for her juris doctorate

She moved to California in 2008 and earned her Master of Laws degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles, Ca. She plans to retake the California bar in the near future
